At Savers/Value Village stores, Halloween is like Christmas. Not only does the company resell gently used costumes, they carry their own brand of new, reasonably priced Halloween goods. Because Halloween sales are key to the company’s yearly revenue, they needed to push back against an uptick in pricey pop-up Halloween stores.

The solution was a campaign as quirky and unique as the people who shop there. Collateral, in-store, and broadcast urged shoppers to throw off the shackles of overpriced, fly-by-night Halloween stores—to Stand Up and Be Costumed. Savers was positioned as a place where every person who celebrates Halloween could fully express their spooky style without breaking the bank.
